Kids Stuff

Sirius saved me again. My 5 year old daughter was addicted to Kidz Bop 12 and for all of you who have young children, you know how many times you have to hear the same song replayed. I stole my wifes car again this weekend and was checking out the presets on her Starmate 4. Thats when I stumbled upon an amazing gem called Kids Stuff.

The first song I heard was from an easy to recognize voice. I checked the display and finally put a name to the artist. It was Laurie Berkner singing in her classic children’s folk style. Berkner is all over the kids television channel Noggin and my daughter is often jumping up in the living room to dance with her. This is one children’s artist I actually don’t mind listing to. I swear that during the hour we were in the car, she had around 5 different songs come on. Better yet, my daughter was excited that I played the music just one notch louder then normal (as she danced in the back seat).

Kid’s Stuff also played plenty of educational tunes and fun loving songs from Dora and Dan Zanes. The best part was how easily it distracted the little one making it easier for me to focus on the road. Thank you Sirius! It is a comfortable feeling having another trusted friend in the car.
